“Choosing a nursery for my son was one of the hardest things I had to do as a parent. I wanted somewhere that could offer him a fun yet educational environment. Somewhere I knew he was safe, Would get cuddles when he needed them but most importantly somewhere I knew he was happy.

Once we visited Honeypot, I knew they would be able to offer him all the above, their reputation really does speak for itself. From the settling in session as a baby right through to his now final year, we have felt involved and supported the whole journey, From the pictures and observations we receive during the day through to the support with his speech. Staff have always gone above and beyond. When our other son was born there was never a doubt in our mind that he would attend Honeypot too.”

“Picking a nursery for our daughter proved a lot harder for us than we thought but then we stumbled upon Honey Pot Huyton and we've never looked back! Our daughter loves her time in nursery and it has been invaluable to her social development. She absolutely adores her key worker and all the other staff in her room which is such a comfort for us to know she is happy and so well looked after when in nursery. Dropping her off in the morning feels like leaving her with family and it has made the adjustment of returning to work so much easier for us all.”

“My little boy attends Honey Bees room,

He struggles with separation even staying with his nans so we were so worried how he'd settle at first but has made such amazing bonds with Rhea his key person, Sophie and all the other girls in the room.

He absolutely loves coming to nursery and tells us about all the fun things he's done.

We constantly get updates and pictures of how he is and what he's getting up to throughout the day which always puts us at ease.

By far the best nursery. Thank you all for all your hard work."

“Honeypots Nursery Huyton is fantastic. Our little boy is so happy and comfortable there, he has a smile on his face each time the staff greet him in the morning. They communicate well throughout the day giving us little updates on gorgeous moments he has. They have beautiful rooms and resources for the children to use and the staff are so loving and kind. We are so happy that we chose this nursery for our son." 🐝

“Reflecting on our journey with Honey Pot Nursery, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the incredible impact it has had on my children's lives. Lilly, our eldest, embarked on her educational journey from Honey Pot two years ago, and the growth she experienced during her time there is truly remarkable.

The nurturing environment and personalized attention provided by the dedicated staff at HoneyPot laid a solid foundation for Lilly's transition to school. Watching her confidently embrace new challenges and excel academically, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the role HoneyPot played in shaping her early years.

One of the highlights of our time at HoneyPot was the warm and positive welcome we received from the staff each day. Their genuine enthusiasm and cheerful greetings created a vibrant atmosphere that set the tone for a day filled with learning and laughter.

As Lilly embarked on this new chapter, our youngest, Joey, eagerly continued his adventure at HoneyPot Nursery. Seeing his face light up with excitement each morning as he heads off to HoneyPot reassures me that he is in the best hands possible. The caring and supportive environment at HoneyPot continues to nurture his curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.

To the amazing team at Honey Pot Nursery, thank you for the love, care, and dedication you pour into every moment spent with our children. Your unwavering commitment to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment is truly commendable. We are forever grateful for the lasting impact you've had on Lilly and the ongoing positive influence you have on Joey's journey. Honey Pot Nursery will always hold a special place in our hearts."

“Honeypot nursery is absolutely fabulous - I cannot praise the staff enough. They are warm, approachable and clearly have strong relationships with the children in their care.

Both my daughters have attended since they were babies and though my eldest is now in school, she is still so happy to visit the staff that she loves when we come to pick up my youngest. Throughout their journeys we have felt confident that they have been well cared for; communication between staff and parents is strong and we receive regular updates on the Famly app alongside pictures of the children’s activities. The safety procedures in place around pick up are reassuring as well - each family has a requested password which staff ask any unfamiliar people coming to collect the children.

My child is very happy at Honeypots nursery and the activities planned for her are all designed with the children's learning and enjoyment in mind. As a parent working full time, it gives me great reassurance that my daughter is in the best possible care, learning key skills and developing socially with care givers that have her best interests at heart.

“Ula has only been with honey pot 3 weeks and she cheers when she pulls in the car park! I’m so at ease knowing she is enjoying the day and being looked after so well. We receive regular updates on the app and she’s trying lots of new foods and activities. Would highly recommend."

“Both of my children have attended Honey Pot Garston from nine months old, up to Pre School. The care is excellent and the staff are great. Since my eldest was so happy there, I didn't hesitate to send my youngest, who is also thoroughly enjoying it. I would highly recommend"

“We Chose Honey Pot Garston for our children's nursery after it was recommended by numerous people we came across in our early stages of parenthood. Now we, as parent’s of 2 children who currently attend Honey Pot Garston recommended this nursery to all our family and friends!

The key workers that have been assigned to our children during their time at honey pot have always been amazing, providing care, support and encouragement to both our children’s individual needs.

The nursery have always provided well-suited extracurricular activities tailored to the children’s age/stage.

The chef at nursery has always followed our children's diet requirements without any hassle.

The management team’s professionalism and dedication shine through in every aspect of their work, making us feel confident and reassured in their care.

We're grateful for the nurturing environment Honey Pot Garston provides, where our children have and continue to grow and thrive!"

“My daughter has recently started at Honey pot Garston and I cannot fault how everything has been from her joining and having her visits to being full time in the bumble bees room. The key person and all other staff make her and myself feel so welcome each day. The famly app is amazing as I can have in the moment updates on how she is as well as dropping the staff a message if I forget anything in the morning.

I would highly recommend Honey pot nurseries to anyone who wants the best start to their child's future due to their personalised curriculum and extensive additional services such as caterpillar music and forest school."

Our History

Honey Pot Nursery Aigburth was established in 2007 by Julie and Tony Hurst. Using their combined expertise in the Early Years sector and business management, they decided to take the plunge and open their first nursery. Tony had spent many years running a successful catering business. Julie had spent years working as a nursery manager in a variety of nursery settings across Liverpool.

The nurseries have been very much a family affair from the very beginning as their youngest daughter Melissa joined them in the nursery in 2007 to gain her childcare qualifications. The following year, their eldest daughter Jenna joined the team during her degree studies in Early Years. Jenna and Melissa are both childcare qualified and have young children of their own, who all attend Honey Pot Nursery and enjoy having their say and opinions included in every day nursery life. Both Jenna and Melissa’s husbands, Michael and Demetri are involved in the running family business.

The family are involved in each of the nurseries every day, they do not manage from a distance and are most definitely ‘hands on’ owners.

Our Philosophy

At Honey Pot, we are influenced by a number of key childcare theorists and pedagogy. Taking parts from Reggio Emilia, Te Whariki with a sprinkle of Montessori and Steiner approaches. We are underpinned by a vision for children that they might be confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit and filled with curiosity and wonder of the world. Our approach is simple, it is our job at Honey Pot to ignite children’s imaginations and curiosity so that they shall enjoy self-directed learning and be thoroughly engaged in play and as a result, deep and purposeful learning shall inevitably take place.

We appreciate that choosing a nursery for your child is an incredibly important decision. We do not take lightly the trust parents place in us when they leave their precious children in our care.
