How we work

We are firm believers that every child should have the opportunity to participate in a range of different experiences and so here at Honey Pot, we include extra-curricular activities at no extra cost to the parent. Children benefit from the following classes

Extra Services

Caterpillar music

Music classes for babies and toddlers with activities, instruments and exciting weekly themes.

Sing and sign

A baby signing programme developed by speech and language professionals and recommended by professionals. Teaching baby sign in a fun way to promote early communication

Fun French

A fun and interactive language class for pre-school aged children

Fun football sessions delivered by trained coaches promoting not only children’s physical skills but also their listening and attention skills.

Yoga Bears

A calming session for children which focusses on their well-being and physical development skills.

Flower Pot Sue

Weekly gardening sessions on site. Children plant and grow a range of fruit, vegetables, herbs and plants. Children learn to regularly water their plants and learn about where food comes from.

Forest School

Every child attending Honey pot Nursery will have the opportunity to be part of a forest school cohort. Each forest school cohort participates in weekly forest school sessions led by our qualified Forest School teachers. At forest school, children learn about nature, build on their confidence and independence skills, it promotes physical development, children have exposure to manageable risk such as climbing trees. There are also physical health and mental health benefits for children who attend forest school and research has shown how forest school helps contribute to better sleep and overall mood.
